In Global Forwarding, we provide a comprehensive suite of international freight forwarding and advanced supply chain management services. We deliver cargo across our global network via road, rail, sea, and air – anything from loose cartons for consolidation and palletised cargo to moving dangerous goods and bulk commodities.

Typical Global Forwarding Roles

Business Development Manager

Those in Business Development with Global Forwarding have excellent sales skills, business acumen and are good relationship and rapport builders.


Their main roles are to deliver new business via prospective customers, maintain the pipeline of prospects that may convert further contracts and sales, and also design customer-centric solutions and strategies that meet Toll’s capabilities and the customer’s inherent need. Many of our people in this area have previously worked in Freight Forwarding related roles.


Having strong presentation, written and verbal skills is essential.

Customer Service

Our Customer Service professionals respond to information enquiries and have immediate access to a range of information to assist those that deal with us.


These roles typically have training included and good growth prospects as well as progression opportunities.


Those joining our Customer Service areas enjoy interacting and communicating with people, informing and problem-solving.


In this role, having high-level data-entry skills, the ability to multi-task, being able to think quickly and excellent communication skills will put you in good stead.

Invoice Processing

Invoice Processing is an important part of our Accounts Payable functions at Toll.


Those working in this area process invoices timely and accurately, often looking after multiple countries.


Successful Invoice Processors are detail-oriented individuals that possess good time management skills.


They’re also good at process improvement and take the initiative when it comes to finding efficiencies as well as resolving issues.


If you have a high attention to detail, good verbal and written skills, along with typing speed and accuracy – this could be your type of role.
